To whom it may concern: I write this letter to describe the most pleasant and worthwhile experience I recently had in acquiring two Bengal cats on August 17, 1996. After searching theinternet and numerous cat magazines in search of pet quality Bengal kittens at an affordable price, I found Lars' Bengal page and immediately gave him a call. After reaching countless answering machines at other breeders with no reply, my call was promptly returned and with the news that there were one and possibly two kittens remaining, aclassic leopard male and a female snow marble. The following weekend I drove to Newark,Delaware from my home in Hoboken, NJ and was pleased to find not a typical "cattery" but a home environment where these kittens had obviously been handled since birth and were free from fleas and other things of that nature. The kittens were just adorable and oh so friendly. The male leopard, now named Calvin, was just a complete mush and loved to be held. The female, now named Chloe, was a little more timid but just as friendly. She has turned into quite the princess around our house. Very loveable, very affectionate. We were very happy to see how well adjusted these two were after hearing horror stories where catteries produce kittens that have never been handled and are not used to contact with humans. In addition, Lars was very helpful with dealing with pedigrees and also provided us with a 90 day health guarantee. The kittens also had had their first shots which was expected. Since then, Lars has been very helpful with any questions we have had regarding our two new "babies" as we often call them. They are still as friendly as when we first got them. As Bengals typically do, they love to get in high places and swim in water. We could not be happier.
To whom it may concern; I recently purchased a Bengal kitten from Defiant breeders. Lars was great to deal with, answering all my questions and making the process simple. So, after a few weeks wait I got my new kitten shipped to Albuquerque. Well, to make a long story short, things didn’t work out. The kitten was very hyper and required more attention then I could give with my work schedule. Worse, he played too roughly with my other kitten and I feared he would unintentionally injure her. Lars felt so strongly about matching up his cats with the right owner and delivering a cat with a great pet personality (what I was looking for) that he exchanged cats with me with no hassle. I now am the proud owner of a one year old Bengal (Azreal) who has the best personality I have ever seen in a cat and is an absolute joy to be with and is great with my other kitten. Thanks Lars for making this into a positive situation and delivering exactly the cat I was looking for.

As you can see from the attached photo, she is turning into quite the
beauty. She seems to have and do everything they say the breed is suppose
to -- glitter, VERY affectionate and playful, and she loves water. All of
our friends who meet her for the first time are completely charmed by her.
We are so very happy to have her sharing our lives. Hope your holiday
season is a cheery one.
